PowerFem began with an obsession: to transform hard material into something emotional, sculptural, and alive.

I was born in Ukraine and raised in Moldova in a family of seamstresses, where craftsmanship was part of everyday life. Watching my mother and grandmother create by hand shaped the way I see fashion today — not simply as clothing, but as art with emotion and intention behind it.

After studying fashion design and moving to United States at 23, I continued searching for a form of expression that felt entirely my own. That search eventually became PowerFem.

Every PowerFem corset begins as a flat sheet of plastic. Using heat, hand-sculpting techniques, and countless hours of manual work, I transform each piece into wearable armor. No molds. No mass production. No two pieces are ever identical.
